Hi Zachary! There is no minimum academic information necessary. we look at your GPA, class rank, and test scores in combination to determine your scholarships. the higher those things are the more money you can recieve. alternately, if you have a great GPA and low test scores (or vice versa) you may still qualify for some aid. The Pride of the Southwest is pretty darn awesome!! we have over 350 members each fall (you can join as a freshman) and you get to perform in a 70,000 person stadium...not too shabby - ASU Casey Thomas

Arizona Board of Regents encourages us to consider anyone above a 2.5 if they meet one of our other assured admissions standards (class rank or SAT/ACT scores). however we look for students with a 3.0.

Hi Brooke, great question! You can audition and perform in many of our Musicals/theatre productions whether or not you are a theatre major. There are also some productions that are for majors only.

Hi Ranita, there is not a waiver, however if you are an Arizona Resident, file your FAFSA and are determined to be Pell Grant eligible, you will be given the option to defer your enrollment deposit with financial aid. This will only occur if you wait to pay your deposit until ASU has your FAFSA on file and has awarded you.

Oh, I gotcha. No generally we do not have second semester freshman opportunities. For 2 reasons. 1) you haven't completed enough of your intro classes for your degree program and 2) usually for semesters abroad you need to know another language and you wouldn't have had enough time at the college-level of that language. The earliest you could go on a trip would be the summer after your freshman year. This is a good thing because it gives you time to save up money for a trip!
